ABOUT The FAMILY PROGRAM of the Professional Education Center
MISSION: The mission is to empower families to be self reliant and responsibly interdependent as they navigate the contingencies and challenges of PEC and military life. FRG VISION: To Be Great People and Do Great Things...and to be the most sought after tour in the National Guard! WHO IS THE PEC Family? The PEC family includes the PEC workforce and their families. It is comprised of assigned National Guard Title 10 soldiers, ADOS soldiers, Federal Employees, State Employees, Contractors and their families. PEC family members stationed at PEC come from all 50 states, territories, and the District of Columbia. The PEC Family comes together to be a part of social activities and events that serve the welfare and interest of PEC and PEC's families.
How can we serve you?
How can YOU CONNECT?
The PEC's FRG embrace the FEATHER as a symbol of excellence, leadership, service, and family because:
Ï Feathers worn give flight to what otherwise science identifies as something that can’t fly. Ï Feathers displayed by leaders acknowledge accomplishments where today feathers remind us that we are leaders of our selves, our homes, our families, our communities and our life-work…in a pursuit of balance and wellness. Ï Feathers given as a symbol of kindness with the intent that this kindness will continue in forward flight from giver to receiver with the hope that kindness will return to the original giver when needed. Ï Feathers attached to the PEC pin indicate you are one of our flock as… “Birds of a feather flock together!” PEC CENTER's LEADERS LINKS (Military, Civilian, Family)
