PEC Charity Golf Tournament Contributors PAST

Since 1999, the National Guard Professional Education Center (PEC), raised over $100,313.28 for its community outreach initiative to help a deserving charity. Through a partnership with the PEC Family Support Group, event sponsors, and all of the participants in the yearly Golf Tournament many in our community have benefited. For several years the PEC Charity Golf Tournament focused on The Rice Depot, better known for its Food For Kids program. And in 2004 the PEC Charity Golf Tournament will focus on older people and benefit CareLink known for the "Meels-on-Wheels" and much more because CareLink provides services to our older Americans to include Senior Centers, housekeeping, personal care, transportation, and legal assistance.

The PEC Family Readiness Group is dependent on donations to finance its outreach program... and we salute those who have supported the Professional Education Charity Golf Tournament to date and gratefully acknowledge all gifts which underwrite our endeavors, and we would also like to thank the many volunteers that make our fund raising initiatives possible.

Because of all those involved in our initiative, hungry children will have a chance to succeed in school and life, and our aging community can live independent longer. This benefits all of us!
